The music is fantastic. The cutscenes are cute and funny. The puzzles are simple, but ad some variety to a simplistic concept. There's a sheer viseral joy in falling things into holes with these enjoyable phyiscs.The major problem with this game is the length. It ends where it should be just getting started. Defeating the raccoon king felt like the end of a 1st act. There should be two more thirds to this game at least. It never achives the grandeur that katamari achives through sheer massive scale. The hole never gets bigger a smallbuilding.What I thought was going to happen, what I hoped would happen, was that everyone in the hole would realize they can never get out, so the only way to fix everything is to bring the whole world down to them. I want to be falling cities and mountains and rainbows and clouds and the very contiantes and oceans eventually. I want to suck the sun in and the stars too. I want all of space and earth to be inside the earth at the end and I know that dosn't make sense but it would be funny. Please expand this concept Ben, I think you know how great this would be.. The good: it's cute, and kinda relaxing.The bad: it's not much of a game. There are no puzzles or other challenges, you just scoot the hole around until everything is gone. There's very very occasionally some minor thing you have to do other than that but it's essentially not a game. It's short, taking my time and taking breaks and going back to poke at something I still only played it for about two hours. If this was three or four bucks I'd say it's worth it just for the cuteness. Instead list price is 13 (though I got it on sale for 10 which is a bit better).. A lot of fun. I hope they make a sequel!I would also love to play a game called "BK Squad," if the devs are listening.. I've been incredibly impressed by Donut County so far. The sound design is just impeccable. Its thick and atmospheric soundtrack is accented by fun and intuitive gameplay that creates an enriched and engrossing experience. The game may be short, but for the price of an album you get some really great tracks and a fun way to relax and enjoy them.. A really great and fun game. I recomend it if someone wants a good indie game. Though it has some cons they are really little, like one of the eatable objects, being tossed over to an area you cant go to.. Game is way too short and doesn't get anymore interesting, it seems like katamari at first, but once you realize how short the missions are, you're left unsatisfied.
